Chip's Challenge is a top-down tile puzzle game designed by Chuck Sommerville and released in 1989 as a launch title for the Atari Lynx. Chip McCallahan works through 148 levels of ice, water, sliding blocks and monsters, collecting computer chips to earn his way into Melinda the Mental Marvel's Bit Busters computer club. The Windows port in the Microsoft Entertainment Pack is how most people met it.
