SkiFree is a downhill skiing game written by Chris Pirih and released by Microsoft in 1991 as part of the Microsoft Windows Entertainment Pack 3. You ski an endless slope dodging trees, dogs and snowboarders — and somewhere past 2,000 meters an abominable snowman appears, catches up, and eats you. The yeti was never meant to be the point of the game. It became the most remembered thing about it.
