Anyone who installed Windows 95 after its August 1995 release spent a while staring at this: a collage of a keyboard, mouse, cables, CDs and a circuit board, pushed through a blue-and-black gradient map. Microsoft made it in-house, and the designer's name has never surfaced. The keyboard's owner has. Kevin Kennedy lent it to the group in the next office, which is how his keyboard ended up on every Windows 95 install.
