ClarisWorks was an integrated software suite for the Macintosh, first released by Claris in 1991. One package bundled a word processor, spreadsheet, drawing tools, database and more, with a friendly interface and easy movement between them — an accessible, affordable alternative to Microsoft Office that ended up on an enormous number of school and home Macs. It later became AppleWorks.
